Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Blue Vet ("Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Blue Vet is a cloud-based veterinary practice management platform. Features are described on our Features page and may evolve over time.

2. Account & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to form a contract.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Keep your password secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• One account per clinic unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Subscription & Billing

• Blue Vet is offered at $20.99 per month per clinic, billed monthly via LemonSqueezy.
• A 14-day free trial is included — no charge during trial.
• After the trial, your subscription begins automatically unless you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Share your account credentials outside your clinic team
• Use the Service to store data unrelated to veterinary operations
• Upload malware, spam, or illegal content
• Scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service
• Resell or white-label the Service without written agreement

5. Your Data

Your clinic data remains yours. We act only as a processor. You grant us the minimum license needed to operate the Service (store, display, back up).

You may export your data at any time. On cancellation, you have 30 days to export before deletion.

6. Uptime & Support

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. Support is available by email at support@bluevet.app.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Blue Vet. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it during your subscription.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when feasible. You may cancel at any time.

9. Disclaimer & Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Blue Vet is a record-keeping tool — medical decisions remain the sole responsibility of licensed veterinary professionals.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us during that period.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Blue Vet against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION — replace with the country/state where your business is registered], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
